Puerto Vallarta Roosterfish average size is 15-45 lbs the largest one I've seen in Puerto Vallarta was 53 lbs and was almost 6 feet. Roosterfish are not good eating but are a great fight and also a favorite by anglers to have a taxidermy and save the trophy game fish forever. The Puerto Vallarta roosterfish season is almost all year around but the best time is February through May.
